वन (Forest)

वृछो का समूह, वन अतुल्य धन है |

वन ही स्वर्ग का नंदन विपिन है

अमर तरु भी, और मदार भी है ये |

सहन करता सदैव, दुद्वर्श चंचला

अरकानल से है, बार बार ये जला

पर स्वयं सूर्य ताप का निस्तार है ये|

फल फूल किसलयों से है ये वन परिपूर्ण,

आमिष निरामिशो से है ये भोजन चक्र सम्पूर्ण

और मानव के अन्न औषधि का आगार है ये |

हर पशु पच्छी को देता है जीवन,

नीर है, कोटर है, घर है ये कानन,

हर प्राणी हर जीव का आधार है ये|

हरित धुती वन, विहंगम वृन्द का कल निनाद,

पत्तो और पवनो से है क्वणित सरिस वाध,

वन्य प्राणी और सौन्दर्य का विस्तार है ये|

The forest, a collection of trees, is a treasure, and the Garden of Eden, is both a source of the elixir and the poison.

It bears hurricane-force air and is frequently kilned by forest fires but remedies the harsh sun.

The forest is filled with fruits, flowers, and saplings, completing the food cycle with grass and flesh eaters and providing food and medicine to man.

It provides life to the birds and mammals living in nests, caves, holes, or homes. The forest is the base of all living beings.

The lustrous green forest, with the noise of a flock of birds, with beautiful music from the wind flowing through the leaves, is an exaggeration of wildlife and beauty.
